Our first meet and great was held on July 18th 09 (not sure of exact date) in Rocky Mountain House  7 riders from all over Alberta took the time (some 8 hours +) to get there. Would have been 8 but Rick from Okotoks, broke down just north of Cochrane and had to turn back.  We met at the Tim Hortons.  What a hum of activity, guys busy mulling about looking at each other's bikes from all angles.  Hey where did you get that? What is this?  How did you fix that? Nobody went in for coffee.  The stomachs were growling and we headed to the Hotel for Sunday brunch.  After filling the furnace, John
led the posse through the back roads
to the Monkey But Bar (sorry John, I
can't remember the name of the town)
With everyone needing to get
somewhere before the sun went
down, we enjoyed a cool refreshment
some more chatting, and said our
goodbye's to headed off in all
directions.

Our second meet was on Sept 13th, 09.  Ron and Lorraine took off from Calgary Sept 12th, road up through the Saskatchewan Crossing and over to Rocky Mountain House where they spent the night.  In the morning they road up towards Drayton Valley where they meat up with Brian Koehli, Rick and his lovely wife Cathy. Doug Singer was on his way down from Grand Prairie and ran into some mechanical problem and had to turn back.  We road back to Rocky had a coffee at the Tims then out the back roads up to Red Deer for a late lunch where we said our goodbye's and parted ways.
Now that we have a few members
we can put our thinking caps on
and really make some waves
next season.
