Edmonton Jan 15-17
The Boss and his son Dan came down from Fort McMurray; Charlie Bates and his lovely wife Hilary came up from Red Deer; Buckshot and 44 Magnum came up from Calgary; After 4 Rick with Cathy and Blue Diesel from Edmonton, all met at the Indian booth at High Noon on Saturday.
"I must say I really like the new facility & so the show was done much better. It was nice to finally see the new 2010 Chiefs right before me & in Alberta. That's progress for sure because some didn't believe it would happen.
Also the indoor show of the bike flying off the ramps was a site ...especially the back flips & just clearing the rafters by 4 feet or so. They scared Hilary a few times.
Was a pleasure going for a fantastic Vietnamese supper & each of us told our story about our purchase & importation of our Chiefs. Thanks for a good time"
John & Hilary
"We had a really good time and it was great to get together with everyone who could make it. Vietnamese was a good choice
to celebrate your 33rd Anniversary After 4 and Cathy, Congrats to you both! Buckshot also would like to say thanks Blue Diesel for the nip of Scotch at his office after supper."
44 Magnum & Buckshot
Red Deer Jan 22-24
Buckshot and 44 Magnum came up from Calgary
(after a full weekend of Rabbie Burns Celebrations both Friday & Saturday night...how much scotch can one man drink?) and met Charlie Bates with Hilary at the show Sunday, High Noon.
Charlie Bates, of Red Deer, entered his Indian Star (Road Star made up like an Indian) in the Red Deer Motorcycle Show and came away with 2nd Prize, trophy and cheque, in the Stock Wild category. A big Congratulations to Him for all his hard work.
If you can believe it......... Buckshot had to spare some
time with 44 Magnum on Jan 23 to celebrate 28th Anniversary ................... somewhere between all that Scotch......
Calgary Jan 8-10
After 4 Rick and his better half Cathy came down from Edmonton on Saturday for the Calgary show. Buckshot and 44Magnum met them at the Indian booth where the guys talked extensively with Tim Wild (new Calgary Dealer)and Lionel Mercier from Kings Mountain. Didn't take too many pics, too much buzz around the booth. Buckshot managed to get the Casino Girls to pose with him for a candid shot.
Calgary
World of Wheels
Feb 19-21
Buckshot, 44 Magnum and Indian Terry entered their bikes in the Show N Shine. All came home winners, two 1st and a 2nd. Charlie Bates came down from Red Deer with his Son In Law for the afternoon on Saturday. The place was wall to wall with people. What a great
turnout, even the weather co-operated. We had a great time, met some more Indian riders, John (who's custom flaming 1999 Indian Chief came in 1st) and his wife Sherry (who's black 2000 Indian Chief on nitrous came in 2nd). At the end of the day on Sunday Buckshot and 44 Magnum rode their bikes home. It was a bit chilly, but worth every minute ( only 20 ) , our 1st ride in 2010.
(we'll have to ask our Pres Blue Diesel if that even counts as a ride )
